The Copper Pan in West Pymble offers a relaxed cafe environment that suits both those looking for a casual breakfast stop and locals wanting a quiet spot for a coffee break. Nestled within Philip Mall, the space benefits from a calm suburban vibe, making it an ideal spot for a laid-back morning or early afternoon pause.

The cafe thrives on its attentive service, with staff known for a friendly and personal approach that adds a welcoming feel, especially appreciated by regulars and dog owners who can bring their pets along. Seating options include a pleasant outdoor area, which seems particularly appealing on warmer days when people settle in for small lunches or to escape busier neighboring cafes.

The Copper Pan’s menu hits a straightforward but satisfying note, with highlights including a well-crafted soy latte, fresh avocado toast, and a pulled pork sandwich that locals favor for a more substantial bite. Coffee from the espresso machine is a strong focus here, and the range of loose leaf teas offers an alternative for those seeking a gentler pick-me-up. Fruit smoothies like Banana Rama or Mango Mania also add color to the menu, catering well to families or those wanting something refreshing beyond the usual cafe fare.

Visitors tend to appreciate the balance of freshness and quality, with dishes like salmon eggs benedict or bacon and egg rolls noted for fresh ingredients without fuss. The thoughtful preparation time for some items reflects a commitment to making each order with care rather than rushing, which is ideal for customers who can spare a little extra time and value mindful eating.

Given the quiet location and attentive service, The Copper Pan suits mornings or early afternoons midweek when the pace is unhurried. It’s a spot where locals might drop in during a school run or mid-morning break, especially those who prefer a quieter setting and a chance to connect with staff who remember their usual order. Weekend visits might be more relaxed when the nearby shops quiet down and the outdoor seating becomes a favorite retreat for casual catch-ups in the sun.

We came here on a hot day and sat outside in a pleasant area for a small lunch. We ordered chicken Vietnamese rolls that were the best I have tasted in years. We had to wait for them but were forewarned as they make each order fresh. Delicious with all the herbs and vegetables with fresh made chicken not overpowered by masses of noodles. Honestly a great find in this suburban shopping area. The coffee was also excellent and the juice. I will come again next time I am in this area visiting.

Lovely little hidden gem in Pymble. The other cafe was too busy. We chose this lovely quiet spot instead and we weren’t disappointed. We had wonderful service from our waiter, Tom. Treated us like family from the moment we walked in.

I really enjoy visiting this Cafe. It has great customer service. The staff are very attentive and go out of their way to look after the customers. The food is fresh and always good. I have tried the salmon eggs benedict and the bacon and egg roll. Both were fresh and delicious. I have enjoyed my weak flat white and my chai lattes. I started going there because its dog friendly and very convenient to park the car and enjoy brunch, before we walk at the local park. I think the prices are very reasonable.
